Mid Century 1.07 Carat Unheated Sapphire Drop Pendant, Circa 1960

Description

A fine vintage sapphire pendant featuring two oval cut natural and unheated sapphires. The well matched gemstones display a vibrant electric blue, and are each secured in six claw coronet collets.

Please choose a 16 or 18" platinum chain (this is included in the price).

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphires show no evidence of heating.

Cut:? Oval cuts.

Clarity:? The sapphires are eye-clean.

Carat:? The sapphires have been out and weighed; one is 0.49 carat, the other is 0.58 carat.

Circa:? 1960.

Measurements:? From the top of the top sapphire to the bottom of the bottom sapphire is 15.55mm.

Weight:? Excluding a chain, the pendant is 1.22 grams.

Metal:? Platinum. Tested.
