Mid Century 1.75 Carat Unheated Sapphire Drop Earrings, Circa 1960

Description

A delightful pair of vintage sapphire earring featuring four oval cut natural and unheated sapphires. The well matched gemstones display a vibrant electric blue, and are each secured in six claw coronet collets and dangle from fish-hooks.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphires show no evidence of heating.

Cut:? Oval cuts.

Clarity:? The sapphires are eye-clean.

Carat:? The sapphires have been weighed. One earrings holds 0.94 carat, one holds 0.81 carat.

Circa:? 1960.

Measurements:? From the top of the top sapphire to the bottom of the bottom sapphire is 15.7mm.

Weight:? The combined weight of the earrings is 2.78 carat.

Metal:? Platinum. Tested.
