Gents Breitling wrist watch, 1953.

The watch has a 17-jewel FEF 350 for Breitling hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Breitling name.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the cow horn lugs and Breitling winding crown. The case is chromium plated and it is in very nice condition. The stainless steel case back is signed Breitling on the outside, together with the model number 1101-22. The inside of the case back has the serial number 947,335 which dates it back to 1953 (although the number 54 is above the serial number so presumably manufactured around the changeover date).

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with sharp concentric circles running through the numbers. Original hands and centre seconds hand with red pointer end.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
