The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
Gents 1965 Tudor Oyster 4540 wrist watch.
The watch has a 17-jewel 59SC hand-winding movement, signed Tudor, which is working nicely.
The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the signed Oyster patent screw down winding crown and the horn lugs. The case is stainless steel. It has light surface marking to the front and sides, not too detrimental at all.

The inside of the case back is signed Tudor, and it has the case reference 4540. The case back has the reference 465,356 which dates it back to 1965.
The lens has a couple of light marks, all very acceptable.

The signed dial, with the small Tudor rose, is in its original finish with original hands and centre seconds sweep.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a vintage presentation box from Limton Watch Company, retailer of branded wrist watches since 1901. Probably not the original box to the watch, but of a similar period.
