An Antique Victorian Silver and Montrose Agate Bracelet C.1880

Description

A gorgeous antique Victorian buckle style bracelet made from Montrose grey agate and silver. Made in Scotland around 1880 by an unknown craftsman. Although unmarked it has tested as silver and its central design is shaped as a stylised buckle. It closes with a tight clasp and the inner measurement is 16.5cm diameter. At almost 150 years old this bracelet is in excellent condition. A very useable and collectible piece of Scottish agate or pebble jewellery.
