Victorian Antique Silver and Agate Inkwell, Birmingham 1901

Description

An extremely beautiful late Victorian silver and agate inkwell. Made in Birmingham in 1901 by James Fenton. The glass inkwell sits inside a silver and agate cradle. The silver cradle has 20 perfectly cut agates around the base. The interior is gilded and there is a full set of hallmarks underneath. The glass inkwell has a silver top crowned with 6 rectangular agates and engraving. There are a part set of hallmarks. The inkwell is in excellent condition with no issues. A great collectors item.

WEIGHT; 318 grams or 10.5 ozst. Approximately.
