Regency Period Mahogany Swivel Top Patience Table

Description

A very good Regency Period Mahogany swivel top patience table, the rectangular fold-over top above a single frieze drawer and the whole raised on turned, reeded legs.

The mahogany veneers used on this piece are of outstanding figure, grain and quality suggesting an attribution to Gillows of Lancaster.

The brass cups and casters are stamped “Cope’s Patent” exactly as several other Gillows stamped pieces we have handled in the past.
