The central scene of the devil and the saint pointing to heaven have wonderful detail such as padded bodies which give a 3D effect, braid stitching and painted faces.

This 19th century excellent quality procession banner has a carved gilded wooden top so it could be carried at a procession and would have also been displayed in a church.
A highly decorative and unique antique that has a fabulous look. An ideal interior designer's piece.

Material: Velvet. Wood. Semi previous stones such as turquoise and pearls. There is no ivory.
Approx dimensions: Width of wood hanger at widest part: 80 cm (31"). Depth of wood hanger: 3 cm (1 3/4"). Height including wood hanger but not including top hanging loop: 111 cm (43 1/2").

Weight: 1.74 kg.
Condition: Very nice decorative antique condition with signs of use with a wonderful look. Some missing gold braid fringe and stones. Some loose threads, small tears and general wear. A small piece missing to the edge of the hanger.
