Scarce matching pair of early C19th George IV period mahogany library or writing tables .
Pair of large rectangular mahogany tables with inset leather-cloth writing surfaces with a surrounding broad band of figured mahogany . Raised on shapely carved standard end pillar supports untitled by a turned stretcher. The flat bases with lateral carved corbels , having compressed bun feet with concealed brass castors .
Each bearing a brass number plaque to the upright end .
In ‘as found’ , fresh-to-market condition, in need of minor restoration and replacement leather writing surfaces.
