Rare 18th Century Newcastle Silver Mustard Pot & Spoon

A rare 18th Century silver mustard pot, assayed at the sought after Newcastle office. This desirable English Provincial example has a drum shaped body, serpentine handle and a pierced fan thumb grip. It has the original fitted blue glass liner and a hinged lid. There is a shovel shaped spoon from the same period included and unusually, the base to the mustard pot is solid. A wonderful collector's item, both usable and collectable. Dimensions below.

Condition :-Excellent with no holes or splits. There is no damage to the glass liner. The lid has a couple of dimples shown in photo and commensurate with age and use.
