Superb Arts & Crafts style oak refectory dining table c.1910. Solid oak top with an applied moulding to the underside and a slim apron with exposed dovetails at the corners. On an unusual base with curving X frame legs chamfered and shaped so as to form Gothic trefoil arches, and with curving braces joining to the underside of the table top. The ends are raised on chamfered rails with curving ends joined with a long centre stretcher and with turned bun feet. Some old marks to the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
