Description

A 19th century French gilt bronze mantel clock of slim proportions. The original gilt bronze patination to the case with ormolu mounts to the side and base panel. A gentleman and his dog leaning against a very well cast tree in bronze. An enamel dial with gilt surround with blued steel trefoil hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and half hours on a bell with silk pendulum suspension. Circa 1870.
