This is a good early 1800s cotton reel and pin cushion holder.
The cotton reels are held in place by rods with wooden turned finials at the top. The rods can be moved up to replace the reels. There is a pin cushion on the top.
This is a lovely small sized one measuring only 20cm h x 9.5cm w at the base.
