19th Century Howard & Sons Bridgewater Armchair

A 19th century Bridgewater armchair by the renowned London maker Howard & Sons. Raised on Howards uniquely turned walnut front legs with short splayed legs to the rear and all retaining the original H&S stamped casters.
 
Retaining the original factor horsehair fillings to the arms and back.
 
The chair has been upholstered to to not have a seat cushion but we can have one made for it with a mix of feather and down if you have this chair upholstered by us.
 
For restoration and upholstery.
 
There is an unfortunate repair to the stamped back leg where some of the serial number is lacking. This repair is firm and will be tidied up before it leaves us.
