Antique 0.56ct Sapphire and 0.60ct Diamond, Platinum Earrings Circa 1920

A fine and impressive pair of 0.56 carat sapphire and 0.60 carat diamond, platinum and 9 carat white gold set earrings; part of our diverse antique sapphire earring collection.

These fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond earrings have been crafted in platinum with 9ct white gold fastenings.

These floral cluster earrings are each ornamented with a feature millegrain collet set round faceted cut sapphire, totalling 0.56ct.

Each sapphire is encompassed with six transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, pavé set within a scalloped border, completing the design.

The earrings secure to the reverse with a hallmarked 9ct white gold screw back fastening; the terminal of the fastening bears the 9ct gold mark (9CT).

These earring have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum and 9ct gold.

The sapphire and diamond clip on earrings are supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.

Such original period examples are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
