This is an antique low back Windsor chair. An English, elm and yew elbow or armchair, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1850.

Aforementioned horse shoe arms supported at the leading edge by turned balusters
Traditional, carved saddle seat with gently recessed squab
Raised upon turned and splayed legs, with collared knees

United by a striking crinoline stretcher with turned spindles
Standing upon a pair of tall circular feet at the front
To the rear leg, gently chamfered bun feet complete the arrangement
Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
