Lovely Chinese bamboo wood and marked silver walking stick or cane.
The silver is fully stamped, it carries the makers mark for Luen Hing, 231 Szechuen Road, Shanghai.
This mark was used between 1875 and 1930 so I''ve estimated the date to C1900.
Also stamped for 900 grade silver.
Lovely decoration in the form of a dragon to the silver top.
It measures 84.5 cm 33 1/4 inches in length, the pommel is 3.8 cm 1 1/2 inches wide and 5 cm 2 inches long.
Mounted on a bamboo shaft.
The ferrule is original and made of brass and steel.
It''s in excellent condition only some very minor signs of age and use as you''d expect at this age.
Some dinks and surface marks to the silver as shown but no holes or repairs.
Marks to the shaft as well from age and use but no breaks or repairs.
