A set of early 19th century burnished steel and bronze fire tools.
The set comprising a shovel, tongs and a poker. The shovel dished to the bell shaped body, and centred by a pierced lyre motif. The tongs sweeping from rounded hinged shoulders to heart shaped grips. The poker falling to a square and tapered end. The shanks of octagonal shape, finished with well cast Rococo scrolling bronze handles.
Date circa 1800.
Height 30 inches, 76cm.

Depth 1 1/2 inches, 4cm.
