A Pair of Early 18th Century Delft Polychrome Vases and Covers.
The covers topped by reclining Foo dogs, over the octagonal and reeded bell shaped bodies. The covers fitting within the raised collars of the likewise octagonal reeded bodies. the vases rounded and tapering to a rounded outward rolled foot rim. The covers and shoulders of the vases with scrolled and flower filled lancets, the main bodies decorated with scalloped flower filled panels, set amongst further flowers and sprigs. The recessed undersides with the makers mark for Lambertus van Eenhoorn 1691 - 1721.
Height 10 1/4 inches, 27cm.
Diameter 5 1/4 inches, 13.5cm.
Date circa 1710.
