A gorgeous vintage diamond brooch/ pendant from the mid 20th Century fashioned in 14ct gold. The open-work gallery is made up of elaborate scrolling motifs and flower-shaped claw settings that hold aloft fifteen bright brilliant-cut diamonds, with excellent clarity and colour. The largest weighs approx. 0.30ct in the centre, bringing the total to approx. 1.42ct.
Diamonds are truly a stone of perfection, desired for their rarity, durability and exceptional sparkle that is second to none. Their superior qualities have made them the ultimate symbol of love across the ages with their strength and ceaseless fire representing eternal love and devotion.
It''s a striking design, with a fold-away loop and a pin and locking catch at the back, so it can be worn as a pendant or a brooch, depending on the occasion. It’s also accompanied by a vintage box to store it in. It has a blue leatherette exterior, black velvet interior, with the maker’s signature “Henry Lee Sons Ltd” written under the lid.
We recommend you insure for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
