Super quality and very handsome English 19th century (Victorian) ebonised credenza sideboard with marquetry, gilding and brass mounts, circa 1880.
The two original glass doors open to vintage velvet covered and inlaid bookshelves, flanking the central ebonised and inlaid door with a porcelain plaque,
The twin and single turned and gilded fluted columns are a nice touch, giving the credenza a sense of depth, without the proportions becoming overwhelming.
Wonderful piece of antique English Victorian furniture and a real statement piece, whether for a living room, dining room, entrance hall for display, bookcase or even better as a drinks and glasses cabinet.
Measuring:
40 inches or 101.5 cm high
72 inches or 183 cm wide
