Rare Victorian Silver & Pale Salmon Pink Cut Glass Scent Bottle by Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1893

Description

This exquisite and unusual Victorian sliced-cut glass scent bottle was made by the renowned Levi & salaman and is dated Birmingham 1893. The elegant salmon pink glass body sliced-cut with elaborate barrette-cut designs. The hinged silver lid with embossed decorations opening to reveal the original clear glass stopper.

Hallmarks:

L&S for Levi & Salaman

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "t" for 1893.

Dimensions:

Height: 8cm / 3.3 inches.

Diameter: 2.5 cm / 1 inch.

Condition:

Good.

Glass in excellent condiiton.

Strong hinge.

Minor crease on collar, on the back.
