N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The chair is a rare shape which has a superb appearance.

It has a wonderful deep buttoned back and seat complemented. The upholstered arms, to the sides of the rear and to the front edge are attractively embellished with lines of individual stud nails which sets the chair off beautifully.

The chair is then raised on four mahogany legs which are finished with heavy brass castors. This chair would look superb in any room in the home or equally in the office or boardroom. A lovely classic design.

The approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are:
34 1/4 inches / 87 cm high to top back and 18 1/2 inches / 47 cm to top of seat
33 1/4 inches / 84.5 cm wide across arms and 18 3/4 inches / 47.5 cm wide across seat at front

32 1/4 inches / 82 cm deep across chair and 21 1/4 inches / 54 cm deep across seat
CONDITION: The chair is in nice condition and has aged nicely just odd knocks and marks commensurate with age and to the rear are a couple of marks (please view rear photographs) but there are no tears or splits to the leather.
