A beautiful lidded heart shaped box with a plethora of repousse decoration and a oval shaped cartouche in the centre of dome topped lid.

The underside is hallmarked for Birmingham 1893, making this a true Victorian period box. The makers initials are also present - H.W.L. for the silversmith, Henry Williamson Ltd.

Superb condition, measuring 2 1/8" x 2" x 1" tall.
