A gorgeous antique Edwardian emerald diamond trilogy ring set with a natural green step cut emerald in the centre (approx. 0.75ct), flanked by twin Old European cut diamonds on either side, that are exceptionally bright with excellent SI1 clarity – H colour (approx. 0.25ct each).
Emerald is the birthstone of May. The Romans considered it to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus and was said to preserve love and provide hope. Its natural green colouring also makes it a stone of springtime and is associated with eternal love and faithfulness.
The piece is fashioned in 18ct yellow gold, with white gold claw settings for the diamonds. It would make a stunning engagement ring with the trilogy of stones representing past, present and future, or those three little words, “I love you”.
We recommend you insure for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
