William IV Rosewood Jewellery Box.
A beautiful example of a William IV Sarcophagus Jewellery box in a superb piece of rosewood dating back to c.1835. The box is elegantly inlaid with a beautiful mother of pearl and pewter design to the front and top of the box.
It has ring handles to the sides and sits on four wooden feet.
We have professionally relined the interior with handcrafted marble paper
The box is complete with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
Superb quality and condition measuring 31 x 23 and stands 22cm high.
