This fabulous ring features four beautiful pear-shaped opals arranged in a flower formation. Five old-cut diamonds and ten round mixed-cut rubies encircle the opals. There are 0.50ct of opals, 0.10ct of rubies and 0.07ct of diamonds in total.
The stones are set within a ridged setting with a circular head, which joins to plain shoulders and a yellow-gold band.
This ring, circa the mid 20th century, is hallmarked by the Assay Office of Chester for 18ct gold, the letter date is worn.
