19thc Cantonese Lacquered Lap Desk/Writing Slope. The exterior is finely lacquered with typical characteristic scenes of Chinese figures going about their daily activities. The interior is fitted with a fold out writing slope and pen tray, the interior needs some TLC , the lid has acrack along its length and would need tidying up. The side handles are missing. however,, from decorative stand point this is a most fabulous eye catching antique. Whilst in may not be in perfect condition it is reflected in the asking price.
