AC Silver has dated this Victorian Gold Gemstone Locket to the 1860s.

This stunning, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The impressive convex oval anterior portion has a brushed finish and is embellished with an impressive collet set cushion cut 1.64ct citrine, encompassed with a halo of twenty-eight seed pearls.

The central citrine arrangement is further bordered with impressive scrolling filigree decoration incorporating six garnets totalling 1.82ct, alternating with six seed pearls.
The reverse of the pendant is fitted with a push fit glass panel and is embellished the original photograph; this panel opens to allow a personal memento or keepsake to be displayed.

This locket is suspended from an 22' 9ct yellow gold chain via a tapering tool decorated bale.
The chain secures with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening to the reverse.
This Victorian locket has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.

The antique locket pendant is supplied with an IDGL gemstone grading report card.
