A wonderful Regency rosewood tea caddy, unusually ''oyster'' veneered with well figured rosewood panels, inlaid throughout with boxwood lines. To the sides are flush fitting brass carry handles. Standing on original brass bun feet.
The box opens to reveal the original fitted mahogany interior with original lining to the lid. Mixing glass probably replaced but good quality and good fit.
With working lock & tassled key.
