Unusual Anatolian prayer rug with the soft yellow ground and showing heavy European influence with the large scrolling leaves. Very pretty rug showing the meeting of cultures and bringing out the best of both worlds. A vase issues the tree of life in the central field while the hanging mosque lamps adorn where the head should touch the rug in prayer.
