Large Antique Copper Planter 52cm 19thC Riveted, Verdigris and drainage holes
A handsome 19th century, riveted copper planter with excellent verdigris developed patina measuring an impressive 52cm diameter and 35cm tall.
A superbly decorative copper retaining good structural shape without rusted decay which many have. These are popular garden features and often striking planters, this has drilled drainage holes to the lower sides and base, a perfect garden or conservatory planter, whilst equally attractive for interior decoration and design purposes.
A generous size riveted copper of excellent colour and shape.

Typically dating circa 1850-1880, with evidence of timeworn use, the expected dents but good structural shape, there is variation to its colour as photos feature as expected. Please note the small area of the rim edge loss of apx 10cm, please see photos.
