This folding table is presented in excellent order.
The piece is very rare and makes a fantastic highly decorative item of furniture.
The number of individual pieces of marquetry within the table is many thousands.
The table rides upon squared section cabriole legs which are unified by an X-stretcher with lower tier platform.
The table turns through a quarter turn to reveal a storage compartment. Once in the open position the velveted surface lifts to reveal integral backgammon and chess boards.
Overall this piece of furniture is in very good condition. The table is well constructed and very solid. The timbers display beautifully.
A magnificent piece of furniture and a wonderful games playing centerpiece.
