Exquisite Art Nouveau English Sterling Silver Card Case - Edwardian

Description

A highly decorative card case with an all-over repousse decoration with a clear Art Nouveau flavour, very organic with stylised floral and foliate decoration. Both back and front have a vacant cartouche which of course could be engraved by your silversmith should you desire.

The push button works perfectly to open the case, the hinge too in perfect working order. The interior has a green fabric and black leather finish, various compartments for business cards, credit cards with small postage stamp pockets too stitched into the leather.

The case is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905, Edwardian in era. Excellent condition, measuring 3 3/4" x 2 3/4".
