1941 Helvetia 'Bauhaus' Style Wristwatch

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1941 Helvetia 'bauhaus' style wristwatch. A silvered dial with uniform Arabic numerals, surrounded by an outer minute track and block 5 minute markers. A subsidiary seconds dial, offset above 6 o'clock. Slim 'stick' minute hands with a blued steel finish.

An oversized base metal case with angular lugs and slim bezel edging. A stainless steel snap on case back, marked with serial numbers and 3576.

The watch is powered by a 17 jewel Swiss made mechanism by Helvetia. Serial numbers date this watch to 1941.
