This fine and impressive vintage men's signet ring has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.

The cut cornered square face of this armigerous signet ring is embellished with a chased decorated seal matrix (intaglio) of an eagle rising, all above the motto 'Moveo et proficior' - I proceed and am more prosperous*.

The flared ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 9ct yellow gold ring shank.
T.+), the Edinburgh Assay Office mark (thistle) and the date letter for 1944 (O).

NOTE: * These heraldic markings pertain to the Knox family.
Condition
This vintage signet ring is excellent quality, with an impressive chased decorated intaglio to the anterior surface.
The ring is a superior gauge of gold for its type and is in excellent condition, with clear hallmarks to the interior of the bridge.
