Susannah Margaretta ''Daisy'' Makeig-Jones was a renowned pottery designer for Wedgwood, best known for her iconic ''Fairyland Lustre'' series. This series featured ten unique patterns, each showcasing different combinations of lustre colors.

Our bowl features pattern Z4830, No. 8 in the Lustre Range, which concluded the First Ten Lustre series. The exterior displays the dark caramel lustre, another hallmark of Daisy''s elegant work. Designed by Makeig-Jones, this range was produced from 1914 to 1929 and is now highly collectible.
