Description

A decorative Victorian papier mache letter box, the slanted hinged lid is painted with figures in a landscape. The sides and edges of the lid are decorated with red, green and gilt scrolls. The interior has slots for letters (one missing) with the original paper, which is so often replaced. It measure 15cm wide. It is in good condition with a minor amount of age related wear.
