A smart and very well made antique mahogany leather top pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s.
It is a great size, offering lots of work space and storage space. There is a beautiful inset leather top, the sides and back are nicely finished and panelled, so this can be used as a free standing item. The drawers have fine quality brass handles and there is a double filing drawer on the lower right side.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There is just some minor wear remaining beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
