Description

This handsome silk opera top hat which is a collapsible / pop up type hat is by German maker Anton Nonn of Bonn and is marked to the with the maker's details. This nice quality hat comes in it's collapsible black card box which can be expanded for when the hat has not been collapsed.

A fantastic hat that is in excellent condition so would be great to wear but also as a prop, shop display or collectible.

Makers details as shown inside hat: Anton Nonn. Bonn Bonngasse. 11.

Size - UK 7 (US 7 1/8).

Measurements:

Inside front to back = 19.5 cm.

Inside side to side = 16.25 cm.

Inside circumference = 57 cm.

Height = 15 cm approx.

Condition: In very good used antique condition with just a little light wear. Some stitching has come away on the underside and seam a little. The pop up mechanism works. Box has wear and tear.

Please note that only the opera hat and box are included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
