A superb 17thc flemish carved drawer front, beautifully decorated with putti, one in a grass skirt and another riding a hippocampus..... also an exotic bird with a piece of fruit in its beak....it has gained a wonderful colour and patina and has now evolved from a simple drawer front to a desirable work of art, that anyone who collects these early carvings, would be glad to hang on the wall.... I would have loved to have seen the piece of furniture, it has come from..!
