A Fine Rosewood Partners Writing Table

19th century
Description

A fine rosewood partners writing table in the manner of Gillows. This excellent quality piece has a top with banded and molded edge and an inset leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooling. Beneath are two mahogany lined drawers to either side with brass knob handles and working locks. The table stands on beautifully carved end supports with scroll feet and brass castors. In very good and original condition and with a lovely colour to the well figured rosewood. 730mm high, 1550mm wide and 920mm deep. English. Circa 1830.
