Edwardian 1.12 Carat Old Cut Diamond Pendant, Circa 1910

Description

An exceptional, high quality antique diamond pendant. The natural old European cut diamond at the bottom - weighing a known 1.12 carat and independently graded as G colour, SI1 clarity - is secured in an platinum eight-claw cornet collet which hangs, via an articulated bar set with a further three old cut diamonds of graduating size, to a fine platinum trace chain. Pure class.

On a 16" platinum chain.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.

Cut: Old European cuts.

Colour: The main diamond is G. The top diamonds range from G to H.

Clarity: The main diamond is SI1. The top diamonds are SI1.

Carat: The centre is 1.12 carat, with a further approximate 0.12 carat in the two diamonds above.

Circa: 1910.

Measurements: The chain is 16". The pendant is 27.5mm long.

Weight: 3.05 grams.

Metal: The chain is platinum. The pendant is 18k yellow gold and platinum.
