An elegant late Victorian centre or side table of excellent quality.
c.1890.
This extremely striking octagonal table has wonderful rich colour and figuring to the rosewood.
To the centre of the octagonal top is a beautiful inlaid foliate design, with elegant boxwood stringing next to the moulded edge.
Standing on solid walnut ring-turned tapering legs, united by an X frame stretcher, ending with brass castors.
Solid sturdy and strong.
A lovely warm rich patina has developed to the rosewood.
In good antique condition. Expected very minor signs of use to the top. A couple of tiny nibbles to one of the corner edges, shown in the pictures.
