Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian jewellery, produced between 1901 and 1915, is characterised by light, intricate metalwork, geometric symmetry, and the prominent use of coloured gemstones paired with diamonds. Craftsmen during this period favoured delicate claw settings and articulated link structures to maximize stone brilliance.

Jewellery from this era frequently utilised 15ct yellow golda standard official in the United Kingdom until 1932alongside platinum mountings, garnets, peridots, and natural diamonds. Settings were typically hand-finished with delicate gallery work.

Authentic pieces often feature period British purity stamps such as 15 or .625 for 15-carat gold, hand-cut gemstones with visible antique facet profiles, and hand-fabricated hinge or lattice structures.

An antique multi-gemstone bracelet serves as a statement wrist accent when worn independently alongside tailored evening wear, or layered with minimal modern gold bangles for a contemporary textures contrast.

Clean using a soft brush with warm water and mild liquid soap, taking care to avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners which can damage delicate peridots or loosen antique settings. Periodically inspect prong settings to ensure all gemstones remain secure.
