The surface of this hand raised antique porringer is plain and unembellished.
This antique silver porringer is fitted with two S scroll handles ornamented with bands of bead decoration to the handpieces.
The underside of this antique porringer is embellished with the engraved initials ''TMS'' and retains the silversmith''s centre punch mark.
Such examples from Guernsey are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
Condition
This antique 19th century silver porringer is an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.
The maker''s mark hallmarks struck to the underside are all very clear.
