A rare Mahogany swing mirror in stunning original condition.
This Lovely mirror features a fully working adjustable tilt mirror, lift up jewellery compartment and lovely turned
mirror supports with brass finials to the tops. The mirror stands on lovely carved feet. The original mirror glass is in fantastic condition with no foxing, there are some very minor scratches as expected with glass of this age. This toilet mirror has obviously really been cherished and cared for all of its life as the condition is some of the best we have seen, the original French polished finish is complemented by the idyllic lightly faded original mahogany colour with patina. We have sympathetically restored this mirror by just carefully cleaning and waxing the original finish to preserve this item for many years to come and to give a lustrous shine to the polish.
Please note: this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish. However, we feel that adds to the charm of the item so we have left it untouched and original
