A very rare pair of 17th century Continental walnut children's chairs circa 1680 (French, Spanish or Italian in origin ).
seat height 16"
Well carved female heads to the top uprights.
Carved rosette shaped front stretchers.
Peg joined construction, lovely patina/ colour.
The upholstery has some losses but sound.
Museum or collectors quality.
