George III Antique Silver Small Coffee Pot, London 1765

Description

A superb small George III antique silver coffee pot. Made in London in 1765 by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, they were partners from 1763 to 1788. They worked at 14 Westmoreland Buildings in Aldersgate. They were silversmiths to the Royal family. This unusual compact coffee pot is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. It has a full set of very slightly rubbed but legible hallmarks on the side. It has a fruitwood handle and a flame finial. A very collectable piece.
