An outstanding antique William IV rosewood writing table / desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1830-1840 period.
It is of the utmost quality, this stands on bold legs with absolutely stunning carving and brass casters. The top has beautifully moulded sides which are slightly concave, there are drawers on the front and this has a polished back, so can be free standing. The inset green leather top has tooled edges and compliments the rosewood tones beautifully.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent.
